  1. We have included the Adobe Acrobat Reader so that you can 
  2. view and print forms provided with StreetSmart.  Installing the 
  3. Adobe Acrobat Reader will restart Windows.  If your computer 
  4. does not restart, you will need to manually reboot your computer.

  6. IMPORTANT INFORMATION IF YOU ARE UPGRADING FROM STREETSMART 2.0!

  8. Before upgrading from StreetSmart 2.0, we recommend that 
  9. you first backup your StreetSmart 2.0 data.  To backup your 
  10. StreetSmart 2.0 data, follow these instructions:
  11.  
  12. 1)  Run StreetSmart 2.0.
  13. 2)  From the File menu, choose Export.
  14. 3)  Delete the File Name and in its place type \BACKUP.SAC 
  15.     and press Enter.
  16. 4)  When your data is saved, a dialogue box will appear 
  17.     telling you the number of records exported.  Click OK and 
  18.     then exit StreetSmart 2.0.

  20. If you have installed Reuters Money Network
  21.  
  22. To backup your Reuters Money Network data, follow these 
  23. instructions:

  25. 1)  Go to Start and in the Programs group, choose Windows Explorer.
  26. 2)  In the left column, choose the directory that contains your  
  27.     Reuters Money Network information (usually C:\MONEYNET) and click on it.
  28. 3)  In the right column, find the data file (STREETSM.WSI) and click on it.
  29. 4)  From the Edit menu, select Copy.
  30. 5)  In the left column, click on the drive labeled C: and click on it.
  31. 6)  From the Edit menu, select Paste.
  32. 7)  Exit the Windows Explorer.

  34. After backing up your StreetSmart 2.0 data, install 
  35. StreetSmart 2.1 over StreetSmart 2.0.  To retain your existing 
  36. data, choose NO when asked if you want to replace your
  37. existing StreetSmart or Reuters Money Network database files.
